The collection is visually appealing and creatively enhanced with professional graphic, time-lines, maps drama, music and animation. The Pentateuch study, Genesis through Deuteronomy, consists of the first five books of Old Testament History, also known as the Torah or the Law of Moses. God shows Himself as God Almighty. One book easily flows into another, developing biblical history from Creation to about 1500 BC as well as the history of Israel from the call of Abraham through the death of Moses.

Colossians – 2 Thessalonians (continued) (Aug-Sept)
Set 10: I Timothy – Philemon (Oct-Nov)

Wednesday 9:30 - 11:30 AM Zenita Beeler
Workbook $10

Paul's Letters to the Churches: Colossians, 1 Thessalonians and 2 Thessalonians These last three books, Colossians through 2 Thessalonians, end our study of the epistolary section of the New Testament. Paul's Letters to the Churches were sent to seven churches scattered throughout Asia Minor, Greece, and Rome. These churches were in different stages of maturity and all needed instruction from the great apostle. Paul took the great truths of life, death, resurrection, and return of Jesus Christ and explained and applied them for these newly established centers of Christian worship and witness. Though each letter has its own flavor and emphasis, each uniquely continues the great picture of our great God, with incredible purpose and application for our lives today.

Can We Talk? Soul-Stirring Conversations with God by Priscilla Shirer
Wednesday 9:30 AM   (West Cobb Location - 770-794-8719)   Marilyn Owen

Can you think of a conversation that has the potential to transform your relationships, your marriage, your priorities, your passions, and even your purpose? Priscilla invites women to throw open the doors of communication with God. In this unique approach, Priscilla says, “I refer to this as the un-Bible study because the purpose isn't study. The purpose is to accept God's Word as an invitation to conversation.”  Relevant topics such as the power of words, hidden idols, complacency, and living a God-fashioned life will engage the hearts and minds of media-savvy, on-the-go women.
