Senior Adult Ministries
One of the bright spots in ministry is the ministry to Homebound individuals, whether they are at home or in senior care facilities. Over 60 faithful RSBC church members make monthly contacts with those who can no longer attend worship services or Sunday School. These volunteers deliver Sunday School literature, specially prepared fruit baskets at Thanksgiving, gifts and/or poinsettias at Christmas and Lilies at Easter and more. More visitors are always needed and new people are regularly added to our Homebound Member list. To get involved, call the Church Office at 770.424.9800 for more information.
Under the leadership of Kathy Hutson, Caring Connections is the Widows Support Group that meets the second Tuesdays of the month at 11:00am in the Kids Cafe for fellowship, encouragement and connection. All widows are invited to attend. For more information on Caring Connections meetings or other activities, contact Kathy Hutson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
