2021 Budget Q&A
2021 Budget Process:
Each year, the Finance Committee & the Budget Committee meet together with the Executive Pastor and Finance Director to create a proposed budget for the following year. The budget process takes into consideration the budget giving in the current year and a projection for the upcoming year. The budget is then made available for review by the RSBC church membership two weeks before the Annual Church Business Meeting (Sunday, November 15 @ 4-5pm on Zoom). During the two week period before the annual meeting, there are two 2021 Budget Question & Answer Sessions offered where church members can attend to ask questions or make comments about the proposed budget. Representatives from both the Budget Committee & Finance Committee will be available to answer questions, as well as the Executive Pastor and Finance Director. The Annual Church Business Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, November 15 @ 4-5pm on Zoom (meeting information is below). The goal of the annual meeting is to present and vote on the Blue Book and Annual Budget. The Blue Book is a book of reports that includes a log of pastoral and committee activites from the year as well as a slate of nominees for committees for the upcoming year. The Annual Budget is presented for a vote ‘as is’ without discussion.
