2023 Budget Q&A

2023 Budget Process:

Each year, the Finance Committee & the Budget Committee meet together with the Executive Pastor, Finance Director and Church Treasurer to create a proposed budget for the coming year. The budget process takes into consideration the budget giving in the current year and a projection for the upcoming year. The budget is then made available for review by the RSBC church membership two weeks before the Annual Church Business Meeting (Sunday, November 13, 2022). During the two week period before the annual meeting, there are two 2023 Budget Question & Answer Sessions offered where church members can attend to ask questions or make comments about the proposed budget. Representatives from both the Budget Committee & Finance Committee will be available to answer questions, as well as the Executive Pastor and Finance Director. The Annual Church Business Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, November 13, 2022. The goal of the annual meeting is to present and vote on the Blue Book and Annual Budget. The Blue Book is a book of reports that includes a log of pastoral and committee activites from the year as well as a slate of nominees for committees for the upcoming year. The Annual Budget is presented for a vote ‘as is’ without discussion.
