Christian Baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing a believer’s faith in Jesus Christ, his death, burial and resurrection. Baptism symbolizes the believer’s death to sin, the burying of the old life and the resurrection to a new life in Christ Jesus.

Christian Baptism, also called believer’s baptism, is the next step after a person chooses to follow Jesus Christ. Adults sometimes reflect on being baptized as a young child or as an infant. The baptism of young children and infants is one way parents dedicate children to the Lord. Believer’s baptism is initiated by an individual when he/she makes a personal commitment to Jesus Christ. Afte making a decision for follow Jesus, baptism is the next step.
