What: Outreach Sunday

*Lunch – 11:45am-12:30pm
*Community Outreach – 12:30-2:00pm

Where: Lunch in the Fellowship Center

Event Description: Reaching out into the community with the Gospel Message is an important part of being the people of God (Acts 2). We have a partnership with Outreach.com that gives us a list of ‘new movers’ within a 2-mile radius of the Church. On Outreach Sundays (3rd Sundays of each month), we will divide up into teams to receive an assignment of addresses of 2-3 ‘new mover’ homes. We will take attractive bags with information about the church to new residents in the neighborhood. The script might go something like this: “Hey, welcome to the neighborhood! We’re from the church down the road. Do you have a church home? We’d like to invite you to Roswell Street. Here are some freshly baked cookies for giving us a moment of your time today.”
