NextGen Ministry

RSBC’s NextGen Ministry exists to make lifelong followers of Jesus. We partner with families and connect students to the life of the church to help them to discover their identity and purpose in Christ.

We emphasizes 5 Key Areas within Next Generation Ministry. Each of these areas form the core values of our ministry strategy!

1. Belong – RS Students have a place to belong at Roswell Street.

Every person is important and is created to relate with God and with one another. We are a family of students that seeks to honor God and love one another.

2. Grow – RS Students Grow together in the faith journey.

Sundays – we provide LifeGroups and Bible studies. LifeGroups meet at 9:00am in The Loft beginning with large-group worship followed by breakouts into LifeGroups (small groups). Tuesdays – we provide an in-home Bible study on Tuesday nights at 8:00pm (West Cobb/Evans Home). Wednesdays – we provide a high-energy student event through RS Student Wednesdays at 6pm in The Loft.

3. Serve – RS Students Serve together to discover their personal identity in Christ.

We help you to discover the spiritual gifts that God has given to every believer. When we use our spiritual gifts, we give God glory and we help others to grow in their faith! We provide opportunities to serve our community through a ministry called “Mission Marietta!”

4. Share – RS Students Share their faith with others.

Jesus taught us to share the Gospel with the people around us! Students can share their faith through Mission Marietta events and monthly Sunday evening Outreach nights.

5. Worship – RS Students Worship together to fulfill God’s purpose.

Worship is a priority and we encourage students to bring glory to God by living for Him each day. Our worship times include Bible preaching, worship music, heartfelt prayer, authentic testimonies, life-changing baptisms, and Lord’s Supper. Students can worship at RSBC by singing in the adult choir or praise teams, playing an instrument in the orchestra, participating with the student band, or even by reading scripture and leading out during prayer times. Are you looking for a place to use your musical talents? We have a place for you!

Biblical Teaching ~ Real Relationships ~ Consistent Discipleship

The only way to become more like Jesus is through sound biblical teaching. Our goal is for students to fall in love with the truth of His Word. Our strategy is to teach through the books of the Bible to provide students with practical applications for daily life. We are excited about building a lifelong foundation in the truth of God’s Word!
