Prayer Movement
The Month of March
In the month of March, we will have Church-Wide listening sessions with Pastor Dan. This will be a time when we as a congregation can dialogue together as Pastor Dan leads us through 9 questions of reflection and encouragement. Let this be our corporate prayer and our individual mindset as we “March” together in prayer:
Pray Daily:
Ephesians 4:1-6: Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all. (emphasis added)
Let us pray continually for ourselves and each other, as we move through this process:
Mondays – Pray for a spirit of openness and honesty:
- 3/6 – James 3:17: But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all, pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.
- 3/13– Proverbs 12:22: The LORD detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy.
- 3/20 – Ephesians 4:14-15: So that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into Him who is the head, into Christ.
- 3/27 – Ephesians 4:25: Therefore, having put away falsehood, let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor, for we are members one of another.
Tuesdays – Pray for a spirit of unity:
- 3/7 – Psalm 133:1: Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!
- 3/14– Philippians 2:2: Make My joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose.
- 3/19 – Romans 14:19: So then, we pursue the things which make for peace and the building up of one another.
- 3/26– I Peter 3:8: Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind.
Wednesdays – Pray for grace with each other:
- 3/8 – Colossians 3:14: Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.
- 3/15–James 4:6: But He gives more grace. Therefore, it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”
- 3/22 – Colossians 4:6: Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person.
- 3/29 – Ephesians 4:29: Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.
Thursdays – Pray for healing and mending of broken relationships:
- 3/9 – II Corinthians 13:11: Finally, brothers, rejoice. Aim for restoration, comfort one another, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.
- 3/16– Romans 15:5-6: May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- 3/23 – Colossians 3:13: Bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you forgive.
- 3/30– Ephesians 4:32: Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you
Fridays – Pray for Christlikeness within each session:
- 3/10 – II Corinthians 5:17: Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
- 3/17– Colossians 2:2: That their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, to reach all the riches of full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of God’s mystery, which is Christ.
- 3/24– Romans 8:5: For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.
- 3/31– Galatians 5:22-26: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things, there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary. Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first.”
- Revelation 3:15-16: “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.”
