Roswell Street Family,
Our hearts grieve together over the events that are occurring around us – just as 1 Corinthians 12: 26 states, “If one part suffers, every part suffers with it.” In our lament, we are finding hope together as a family of many cultures and many generations living the Gospel in real relationship. God has uniquely placed us together to serve with love, justice and compassion in this moment of crisis. Please clicke HERE to view our Thursday conversation for racial reconciliation and unity. We are #RSBCtogether!
- PRAY TOGETHER – I would like to invite you to join me this Saturday, June 6 at 10am for a UNITED PRAYER GATHERING for racial reconciliation and unity. Many fellow pastor friends and Marietta churches will be joining with us as we sincerely pray for the healing of our land. We will be gathering on the outside parking area of Zion Baptist located at 165 Lemon Street NE. City and county parking are available; bring a lawn chair. Also, Please join us each weekday for our Noon Prayer Gatherings on Facebook Live.
- GATHER TOGETHER – for worship this Sunday, June 7 at 10:30am as we celebrate the “GOOD NEWS: Encouragement for a World in Crisis.” We are continuing to read daily one chapter of the book Romans. This Sunday I will equip and encourage you to become a Hope-filled people in a hurting world. Currently, we are in Phase 2 of campus reopening, which means that we are maintaining the CDC safety protocols with worship-only on-campus. So far in this phase, all has gone well. All Life-Groups are continuing online or outside. Whether you worship On-Campus or Online, you BELONG here!
- FORWARD TOGETHER – We may not know what tomorrow holds, but we know the One who holds tomorrow. In these times of uncertainty and unrest, comfort is found in the reality that we are not going at this alone. No matter what trails and difficulties are before us, we will move forward together by faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.
We are #RSBCtogether in Jesus!
Pastor Michael
