Dear Roswell Street Family,
In light of your response to last week’s survey and the declining numbers of COVID-19 cases in Cobb County, two options for worship will be available for this coming Sunday, May 17: (1) On-campus worship and (2) Online worship. The church is taking all of the recommended safety protocols by the CDC and Governor Kemp’s Office to ensure a safe and secure experience for all those who would like to worship on-campus. Our leadership has met the past two weeks to prepare for a safe reopening.
Please note the following items:
- We will begin with ‘Worship Only’ on-campus; Life Groups will continue meeting online or off-campus.
- To prevent the spread of the virus, families will be asked to sit together in worship (‘Live Together/Sit Together’). There will be no preschool, children, student or adult programming. Children will be provided with a kid’s pack of activities for the worship service.
- The worship gatherings will be 60 minutes in length to allow for cleaning and transition times in anticipation of future additional worship times.
- CDC recommended distancing 6’ feet has been measured off in the Worship Center. Deacons will assist in seating families on every other pew and ushering attendees out after the service concludes.
- If you are in a ‘high-risk population’ as stated by CDC, we would encourage you to continue worshipping online. I love you very much! Please use wise discretion.
- If you are sick, coughing or feeling ill, please stay at home & worship online.

This information will assist us in planning for your attendance in upcoming worship gatherings. Please complete this survey by Thursday at 5pm. We will send out an email on Friday to notify you of worship times.
