Thankful Sermon Series
What is the greatest motivation to live life to the fullest? It is not rules nor obligations to do a task; it is a relationship and a heart of flowing with gratitude to God and one another.
Jesus is looking for grateful followers who show up in His Presence daily with a joyful and thankful hearts. His desire is seen in His miracle of cleansing the 10 lepers and His sadness that only one of them returned to give Him thanks. “Were there not 10 that were cleansed? Where are the other 9?”
Why are you grateful? For what are you most grateful? In a mindless culture, God is calling us by His Word and Spirit to be mindful of gifts received to be empowered to live a life of gratitude. The Psalmist David in Psalm 103 demonstrates a life empowered by gratitude as he expresses the fervor of His soul to “Not forget any of His blessings” and He calls them to mind and through His lips in worship to God. As a disciple of Jesus, we all need times frequently when we call to mind and express in writing and words gratitude.
Let’s journey with open Bibles and hearts to hear from heaven and live the abundant life Jesus has freely given to us which begins at the feet of Jesus. THANKFUL is a series of 4 sermons designed at resetting our lives on the foundational outcome of becoming a disciple of Jesus.
